Marie Fol
Keychange / On the move

Marie Fol is Lead of Keychange, the global movement for gender equity in the music industry. In this role, Marie coordinates activities in Europe and Canada, as well as develops new partnerships on global scale.

Fierce advocate of international cultural collaboration, Marie operates as cultural manager, expert and researcher in the arts, culture & creative sector at European and international level. She is on the jury of many international programmes, working with the European Commission (Creative Europe), Institut français (Archipel.eu), European Music Council (MusicAire), Womex (2022 Conference Samurai) and more. She has co-authored publications on funding needs for cultural mobility (i-Portunus Operational Study, 2019, and Mapping Study and Report on mobility and collaboration funding for NDPC and EUNIC, 2021), wrote a research paper on virtualisation in contemporary dance (EDN, 2021), and is co-author of the Music Mobility Funding Guide in Europe (OTM, 2023).

Marie is Company Director of Res Artis, international network of artist residencies and is strongly involved with On the Move the international network for cultural mobility (Board Member 2017-2020, President 2020-2023).
